Safeshred, A St. Joseph Shredding and Document Destruction Facility Is Sold To Shred Right.
ST. JOSEPH, MINNESOTA – April 23, 2008 – Shred Right, a St. Paul based shredding and document destruction company, and its parent company, Rohn Industries, announced the acquisition of Safeshred – a significant off-site shredding company located in St. Joseph, Minnesota. Safeshred has been serving clients in Central Minnesota with secure shredding services since 1997.

Shred Right, Inc. is a document destruction company that has been based in St. Paul, Minnesota for over 25 years. Shred Right specializes in the secure destruction of a variety of sensitive information and materials and will be adding expanded services to the St. Joseph location. In addition to the destruction of paper and electronic media, the facility will begin handling product destruction–including mis-manufactured product, plastics and even computer hard drives. The facility will also offer complete recycling services through Rohn Industries, the parent company of Shred Right. Shred Right expects to begin offering these expanded services in the St. Joseph location immediately.

Shred Right’s St. Paul plant is AAA certified by the National Association for Information Destruction (HYPERLINK "http://www.naidonline.org/"NAID). Shred Right will soon be seeking certification for the newly acquired St. Joseph plant as well. NAID certification is a voluntary annual program that is audited by security professionals with the Certified Protection Professional (CPP) accreditation.
“Laws and regulations protecting client and employee sensitive information are getting stricter everyday,” stated Mason. “We are very active in the industry with organizations like NAID to help set and maintain standards that offer clients even more protection and peace of mind.”
The transition from Safeshred to Shred Right is already moving forward. Current and past ownership expect no interruption in services.
