Jim Beran, Sales Manager at Shred Right, a document destruction company located in St. Paul,Minnesota, was elected for a 2-year term to the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) board of directors at its 2007 Annual Conference at the Gaylord Palms Resort inOrlando, Florida. NAID is a nonprofit, international trade association formed in 1993 for and of companies that offer document destruction services. With hundreds of members throughout North America, NAID has become the recognized authority on secure information destruction. Jim was one of seven candidates considered for the two open board of directors slots. As part of his responsibilities, Jim will sit on the Certification Review Board (CRB) committee involved in NAID certification issues and audits. This committee is specifically charged with protecting the integrity of the NAID Certification Program. Jim is also part of the 2008 NAID Conference committee responsible for development of the educational programs and events for the 2008 Annual NAID Conference. “Over the years, Jim has consistently contributed to the improvement of the secure information destruction industry as member of NAID. It is very fitting that his colleagues have now elected him to serve on the NAID Board of Directors,” said NAID Executive Director, Robert Johnson.
